We’re developing a timetable for the pulpit talks and considering options. Concerned with the possibility of pulpit talk saturation (after a prolonged 12 week stewardship campaign) how have other parishes approached this element? Thoughts and suggestions welcome. -

Joe,
Our pulpit talks pre-Assembly began before two-weeks of pulpit talks about Bishops' Annual Appeal. Then we continued the pulpit talks afterwards.
I would say that the reason for these talks will supercede your other concerns.
Having prepared Parishioners who know a little about the Essential Areas of Parish Life will make it easier for them to respond to the Assembly question,"Which area should we focus on and why?".
Summer months may not be the best time due to many who vacation away. When is your Assembly date? Pray about it and let the Holy Spirit guide your timetable. True, you don't want dates that conflict with special Parish Feasts or events. It does take some juggling. Stay with it.
Be blessed in your Parish ministry,
Liz
